From time to time the NCRI and NCRN recruit consumer representatives to provide a consumer perspective for specific groups, projects and committees.
NCRI/NCRN would like to increase the diversity of their consumer representation and applications are welcomed from consumers based throughout the UK, from all ethnic groups, all age groups, and from people with experience in all kinds of cancer.
For each role, information is provided on the role profile and personal specification. Recruited consumers receive advice, support, meeting expenses as well as training to support them in their roles.
Please note that the NCRI and NCRN define consumers as patients, relatives, carers and other members of the public affected by cancer.
Example Role Profiles:
Consumer members of the NCRI Clinical Studies Groups with Core Membership of the Consumer Liaison Group
